This Venus ring celebrates the morning star worshipped by the Mayans as the patron planet of warfare.
The ancient Mayans used the doorways and windows of their buildings as astronomical sightings, especially of Venus. At Uxmal (Mexico) for instance, all buildings are aligned in the same direction.
Designed to wear it alone or stacked, it is a simple design yet the 2.25mm sapphire gives a notable sparkle.
