FAQ
Can I order a Large or XS ring size?
Yes, we can make any ring size to order. Smaller or bigger sizes than 5, 6 and 7 will take 4-6 weeks to deliver. Please email izaskunzabalajewelry@gmail.com and we will assist you with your order.
Do brass rings turn my finger green?
Brass jewelry can turn your skin green depending on the acidity of your skin. This is common when it comes to brass, copper and silver jewelry. Since brass is usually made of a combination of zinc and copper, it can often tarnish, or oxidize. We recommend to always wear your brass rings, as they will naturally polish with wear, and any green oxidation marks on your skin will clean with daily hand wash.
Why do I have an allergic reaction?
Our chains are gold filled, and free of nickel in the base metal. Our hypoallergenic gold filled ear wires/posts are free of nickel and can be worn by everyone, without a risk of irritation. If you experience an allergic reaction, you may consider to be tested for every metal allergy.
Some people can have a reaction to brass which can leave a temporary tint on the skin. This happens more commonly with brass rings as the metal can be very flush against the skin. If this occurs, please reach out to us for solutions.
What is the turnaround time on made to order pieces?
Custom orders will take 8-10 weeks depending on the complexity of the project. Please email izaskunzabalajewelry@gmail.com and we will assist you with your inquiry.

What's the difference between gold plated and gold filled?
Gold plating and gold filling are very different. Everything from the process to its durability is determined by the amount of gold the jewel contains. Gold plating consists of immersing the piece in a gold bath, and gold filling consists of inlaying gold leaf on the piece.
At first glance, there is no difference between gold plated and gold filled jewelry, but plated results in a thin layer of gold, and filled results in a thicker layer.
Continuous rubbing and exposure to water, sweat, etc. are some of the factors that will wear down the gold in a piece of jewelry, whether it is gold plated or gold filled. In the end, the thickness of this material will be decisive, as well as the precautions we take to keep our jewel in optimal condition.
