Since brass is a natural alloy it will gradually patina over time with exposure to oxygen, moisture and saline environments. If you prefer a bright sheen, this effect can be achieved with a quick polish. All of our pieces can be polished with a brass cleaner (like Brasso) and a soft cloth or paper towel. However, using natural cleaning remedies is a cost-effective and safe alternative to harsh chemical cleansers that are available. We recommend these three solutions:
1. Lemon and baking soda
Make a paste with a tablespoon of baking soda and the juice of half a lemon. Apply the paste with a soft cloth on the jewelry and leave it for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and dry with another soft cloth. Repeat the operation if necessary.
2. Flour, salt and white vinegar
Combine equal parts of flour, salt and white vinegar, stir until a homogeneous paste is obtained. Apply the paste with a soft cloth on the jewelry and leave it for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and dry with another soft cloth. Repeat the operation if necessary.
3. Lemon and salt
Combine the juice of one lemon and a heaping tablespoon of salt, mix well and impregnate a soft cloth with it. Rub the jewel with it and allow it to act for 5-10 minutes. Rinse with warm water and dry with another soft cloth. Repeat the operation if necessary.
Do brass rings turn my finger green?
Brass jewelry can turn your skin green depending on the acidity of your skin. This is common when it comes to brass, copper and silver jewelry. Since brass is usually made of a combination of zinc and copper, it can often tarnish, or oxidize. We recommend to always wear your brass rings, as they will naturally polish with wear, and any green oxidation marks on your skin will clean with daily hand wash.

How do I measure my ring size?
Because size and cut will vary between styles, please use this chart as a general guide. If you are between sizes or need assistance in choosing the proper size, please contact us at izaskunzabalajewelry@gmail.com.
Know the inside diameter: find a ring that fits comfortably. Place the ring on a circle. The correct size should fit flush against the inside edge of the ring. When a ring is between two sizes, order the larger size.
